Chinese Consulate in Munich, Germany

Façade & Glazing Works: 5,480 m² | Construction Period: 2015–2016
Category: Diplomatic Facility · High-Security Glazing · Precision International Compliance

Located in Munich’s diplomatic precinct, the Consulate-General of China demanded a façade solution that combined architectural dignity, strict security performance and compliance with European technical standards. The redevelopment forms a key institutional presence for international affairs, requiring glazing systems engineered to the highest levels of safety and stability.

From 2015 to 2016, we delivered 5,480 m² of high-specification aluminium window, door and curtain-wall systems. The package incorporated thermally broken aluminium framing, security-rated laminated glazing, insulated double-glazed units and controlled-access façade elements designed to meet enhanced structural, acoustic and safety criteria.

Working within a diplomatic environment required precision in documentation, fabrication and installation. Our team undertook detailed site measurement campaigns, produced comprehensive shop drawings and coordinated façade interfaces with security consultants, structural engineers and regulatory authorities to ensure full compliance with institutional standards.

The project also required sophisticated logistics planning. International shipments were coordinated with strict customs requirements and controlled delivery windows imposed by the security nature of the site. Despite these constraints, all façade components were delivered and installed efficiently under well-managed site protocols.

The completed façade reinforces the consulate’s architectural presence, delivering clarity, strength and long-term performance for a high-security government facility. This project highlights our capacity to execute institutional glazing packages requiring precision engineering, strict compliance and elevated security performance.
